MicroCyb ShowSpark 8 — Your Lights. Your Music. Your Show.
Bring your display to life with an eight-port pixel controller that combines live Ethernet control, standalone sequence playback, synchronized music, and automatic scheduling.
ShowSpark 8 supports up to 6,400 RGB pixels across eight independently configurable outputs, with up to 800 pixels per port and 40 FPS RGB playback. Stream your show from xLights or run stored sequences and music directly from an SD card—without a dedicated computer or Raspberry Pi for playback.
Features that make your show easier
- Eight independent pixel outputs: Configure pixel counts, starting channels, brightness, color order, grouping, null pixels, reverse direction, and zigzag layouts to suit your display.
- Standalone lights and music: Play FSEQ sequences, including supported ZSTD-compressed files, alongside synchronized MP3 audio. I2S audio output connects to a compatible DAC for your sound system.
- Playlists and scheduling: Arrange multiple sequences and set day-of-week start and stop times for automatic operation. Network time synchronization and timezone settings keep your schedule on track.
- xLights integration: Discover the controller on your network and use Upload Output to transfer supported port settings and model assignments. The browser-based Visualiser helps you view and manage your layout.
- Flexible live control: Receive DDP, E1.31/sACN, Art-Net, and TPM2.net/Glediator over wired Ethernet.
- 25 built-in lighting effects: Choose from rainbow, twinkle, fire, comet, candle, meteor, lightning, fireworks, and more—without creating a sequence.
- 15 color palettes: Decorate for Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, patriotic celebrations, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, winter, and Hanukkah.
- Browser-based setup: Configure outputs, upload show files, manage playback, and monitor status from a device on the same network. No configuration app required.
- RGB and RGBW support: Compatible pixel types include WS2811, WS2812B, WS2813, WS2815, SK6812, SK6812W, and TM1814, with configurable color orders and white-channel handling.
- Brightness and color control: Adjust master and per-port brightness, with selectable gamma correction for your display.
- Built-in testing and diagnostics: Check pixel wiring, monitor frame rate and network activity, and view SD-card and audio status.
- Firmware update tools: Check for available releases from the web interface, with USB UF2 installation support.
Whether you’re building a synchronized holiday show, lighting a roofline, or running colorful effects throughout the year, ShowSpark 8 puts pixel control, show playback, and music together in one controller.
